Through innovative design and construction techniques we maximized the existing 25-foot wide lot and created a 2,200 square foot residence. Modern design and natural light emphasize both the interior and exterior of the home, which also complements the more traditional appearance of the other homes in the neighborhood.
Our vision for the 948 McClelland project was to produce a unique home that captured the simple beauty of modern design, as well as to internally reflect the beauty of the natural world through the use of warm materials, courtyards and expansive outward views.
The existing property was demolished to design and build an entirely new home on a large urban infill lot. The home contains 3,800 square feet on three levels and incorporates the best in modern design and construction.
With a combination of new construction and renovation, a small 1930s bungalow was converted into a four bedroom, three bath, bright, spacious home containing 2,800 square feet. The exterior design conforms to the traditional neighborhood feel, while the interior is distinctly clean, open and a fresh modern look.
This neighborhood bungalow was substantially updated and the focus was to maintain affordability to first time homebuyers. High quality construction and renovation of an existing and attractive floor plan resulted in an affordable approach to urban design.
The neighborhood bungalow was acquired and significantly renovated. Demolition of an outdated carport attached to the garage permitted the addition of a master bedroom/bathroom suite. The resulting product was an entirely new four bedroom, three bath house with a two car garage and distinctive modern interior.
